As early as 1993, the first 20 silo bunkers were put into operation in Tarragona on the premises of the plastics producer LyondellBasell (then Hoechst) and have since been operated by SCHMIDT personnel. The silo bunkers are filled partly by pipeline and partly by transfer.

 

 

LOGISTICS ACTIVITIES

In 2008, SCHMIDT Logísticas took over all logistics activities at the plant. This includes bagging, octabin filling, ensiling and all storage and retrieval of loose and packaged goods.
