IMPORT

Services from port of entry resp. HUB through delivery at customer site:

  • Customs clearance
  • Extensive network of company subsidiaries
  • Shipments from port to HUB
  • Returning empty containers
  • Direct delivery of 20‘ bulk containers
  • Intermediate storage, bulk and packaged
  • Container discharge into silos for intermediate storage
  • Discharge via rotary feeder at customer’s site
  • Reloading via tilting platform
  • Extensive product handling
  • VMI solutions (Vendor-Managed Inventory solutions)
  • Delivery upon customer call-off
  • Transport and delivery to customer site by container or road tanker
EXPORT

Any and all services from production in Germany through delivery to customer site in the respective destination country

  • Coordination of pre-transport/pre-port via SCHMIDT chassis or contracted truckers
  • Installing liners
  • Organizing preparations for transport including handling of loose/bulk goods
    a) Loading via the SCHMIDT mobile belt thrower into sea carrier containers
    b) Loading via road tanker and refilling into sea carrier containers at our SCHMIDT container terminals
    c) Loading via customer’s mobile belt thrower into sea carrier containers
  • Transport from HUB to port
  • Handling of harbour procedures at loading and destination ports
  • Bulk-discharge via tilting chassis or from road tankers
