The silo station built in 2000 for the plastics producer LyondellBasell on the BASF site is filled directly from production by pipeline. A SCHMIDT team ensures that the logistical tasks run smoothly. For shipment to the recipient, the product is either bagged and palletised or loaded as loose goods into silo vehicles and containers.
