SUBSIDIARY POLAND PLOCK
Since 2003, SCHMIDT is represented in Warsaw/Poland. Because of the rapid expansion of the Polish transport industry requiring to organize container trains from Plock to Germany, SCHMIDT opened a second Polish subsidiary a mere 120 km to the west – in Plock – in 2007.
At this point in time, this subsidiary is running their own fleet of vehicles, operating a state-of-the-art cleaning station with 2 rinsing lanes that is made available also to third parties, and since 2012 also a container terminal providing space for 150 TEU.
