    MKL MITTELDEUTSCHE KUNSTSTOFFLOGISTIK\u200b<\/h2>\n

    MKL (Mitteldeutsche Kunststofflogistik) is a joint venture of KARL SCHMIDT Spedition and Finsterwalder Transport und Logistik, founded in 2002. Inside the Value Industrial Park in Schkopau near Merseburg (German province of Sachsen-Anhalt) MKL built a state-of-the-art 26,000 m\u00b2 logistics facility including 70 storage silos with a total capacity of 17,500 tons, an intermediate platform equipped with mobile bagging equipment and a warehouse with 10,380 m\u00b2 of covered floorspace for plastics manufacturer DOW.<\/p>\n

    An annual 300,000 tons of polypropylen granulate directly from DOW production is handled from here. This EUR 17m project was completed after one year construction only and given over to production in June 2004 in a public opening ceremony and is operated by MKL ever since.<\/p>\n

      MKL MITTELDEUTSCHE KUNSTSTOFFLOGISTIK\u200b<\/h2>

      Die MKL (Mitteldeutsche Kunststofflogistik) ist ein Gemeinschaftsunternehmen der KARL SCHMIDT Spedition und Finsterwalder Transport und Logistik, das im Jahr 2002 gegr\u00fcndet wurde. Im Valuepark Schkopau bei Merseburg in Sachsen-Anhalt errichtete MKL f\u00fcr den Kunststoffproduzenten DOW auf einer Fl\u00e4che von 26.000 m\u00b2 einen modernen Logistikkomplex mit 70 Lagersilos, eine Zwischenb\u00fchne mit fahrbarer Absackanlage sowie eine Lagerhalle mit 10.380 m\u00b2 Lagerfl\u00e4che.<\/p>

      300.000 Tonnen Polypropylen-Granulate aus der DOW-Produktion werden hier j\u00e4hrlich umgeschlagen. Das 17 Millionen Euro teure Objekt wurde nach einj\u00e4hriger Bauzeit im Juni 2004 feierlich er\u00f6ffnet und wird seither von MKL betrieben.<\/p>
