KTHN KOMBITERMINAL HEILBRONN
This combi-terminal is the ideal transhipment point for intermodal road / rail traffic for your container in the region of Franconia.
The port of Heilbronn is one of the largest inland ports in Germany which makes it the largest port on the Neckar. The river Neckar is the perfect transport route to the major western ports of Amsterdam, Rotterdam and Antwerp. Based on its exposed location on the Old Neckar at the northern tip of the industrial area, i.e. the Neckarhafen, with railway siding and in direct proximity to the expressway, ideal conditions are also given for trimodal operation. Owner of the 22,661 m² terminal is HVG (Heilbronner Versorgungs GmbH).
Since 2018 and following a previous international tender, the joint venture Kombi-Terminal Heilbronn GmbH is operating this terminal, which opened in 2012. In a second construction phase, the terminal is to be further expanded to 45,000 m².
