The SCHMIDT subsidiary at Cologne-Niehl for bulk goods and logistics was established in 1981, and is today noted for its expertise and well known to the bulk chemical industry. Located centrally in the Cologne chemical industry region and with direct connection to the seaports of Antwerp and Rotterdam via the Rhine river, this SCHMIDT subsidiary offers ideal conditions for import and export traffic.
Handling, storage (for up to 50,000 tons of packaged products) and a state-of-the-art bulk goods facility with 128 silos with a total capacity of 27,600 m³ equipped with homogenizators and dedusters for technical treatment and finishing of plastics products and bulk goods provide a multitude of services of international quality – guaranteed by a team of experts.
