ONSITE-FACILITY BAYREUTH / LYONDELLBASELL

Since 1993, SCHMIDT is acting service provider for its customer LyondellBasell at their Bayreuth location for their bulk goods logistics sector. During a 6-day shift operation, our SCHMIDT team monitors incoming and outgoing goods, handles loading into road tankers and container trucks as well as transshipment onto the plant’s own container terminal.

This container terminal has been constructed in 2002 and expanded to 90 TEU in 2008. Container stackers and sideloaders are available for handling 30’ and 40’ containers.
