The inside cleaning of the tank unit is an essential part of the quality chain relative to bulk transports.
Cleaning facilities are available at most of the SCHMIDT Group’s logistic centres which have been constructed to meet various requirements. Some facilities feature automatic high-pressure cleaning (with spinner heads), whereas at others, cleaning is performed manually by the driver. Hot water and detergent are available if and when required.
Water treatment and reprocessing is undertaken by applying modern technical methods which are subject to continuous
auditing by the relevant authorities.
Each cleaning process is completed with the issue of a ECD-cleaning certificate.
SCHMIDT cleaning facilities are checked regularly in order to maintain quality at the highest possible level. An important element are the training courses for the responsible staff which take place on a regular basis. Moreover, the SCHMIDT Group takes part in the continuous improvement and development of cleaning methods and is involved in setting decisive technical standards.
Cleaning facilities within the SCHMIDT network are open to all bulk transport operators.
