Following the needs of the local chemical industry in the Northern Hessen region, the SCHMIDT Group opened in 1969 a depot in Huenfeld-Kirchhasel (near Bad Hersfeld).
Services include a local fleet of road tankers along with tank cleaning and repair workshops.
Both historically and currently, Huenfeld-Kirchhasel is an important crossing point for German national transports.
